RESEARCH: Digipak Analysis (Elrad)

Elements of Real Digipak:

What is a DigiPak - 
  1.  A type of packaging for CDs or DVDs, typically made from cardboard with an internal plastic holder for one or more discs.

Front Cover






Usually includes: artist name, album name, 
warning, record label, cover photo 

SPINE

Usually includes artist name, album name,
 record label(usually abbreviated)


Back Cover


Usually includes songs of album in order, album name, an image that links with the front cover, barcode, logo for record label, Institution info.



 Internal Panels

Usually includes a cd slot, booklet; (inside) lyrics, photos, credits, thanks note.

Retailers:
In the first half of 2015, CD album sales in the UK fell 5.7% from 22.68m to 21.38m. In the same period, sales of digital albums dropped 6.6% to 13.86m.
